Dear Macedonians and friends of the Pan-Macedonian Association,
On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pan-Macedonian Association and the Organizing Committee of the 62nd Convention of our Association, we convey to you our most heartfelt wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
We are happy to announce to you that the 62nd Annual Convention of the Pan-Macedonian Association USA, will take place at the Crowne Plaza hotel, right across from the LaGuardia Airport, in New York, on May 29, 30 and 31, 2008.
This year our Convention is dedicated to the younger generations of our US Macedonians. We will offer the podium to our Youth to hear their needs, to listen to their problems and thoughts about the future of our great Association. During our discussions we will promote a deeper understanding of the Skopjan problem by our Youth and we will analyze ways to promote our issues having our young people by our side.
Events:
On May 29, 2008 a reception will take place at the Macedonian Studies Center, Whitestone, New York.
On May 30, 2008 the renown Serres Choir “Orpheus,” which has been dynamically active since 1905 and promotes the Greek music all over the world, will perform in the Queens area. The exact location will be announced.
On May 31, 2008, during a dinner in His honor, in New York’s Terrace on the Park, His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios will be the Recipient of the Philippio Award by the Pan-Macedonian Studies Center.
We hope everyone participates in the Convention and all the events. Your participation is very significant and we hope the dialogue with our Youth will be productive, so that we may dynamically continue with the labors of our Organization.
The future of our Association is everyone’s responsibility!

Αγαπητές Μακεδόνισσες, αγαπητοί Μακεδόνες & φίλοι της Παμμακεδονικής,
Εκ μέρους του Υπάτου Προεδρείου της Παμμακεδονικής και της Οργανωτικής Επιτροπής του 62ου Ετήσιου Συνεδρίου της Παμμακεδονικής Ένωσης Αμερικής:
Θερμές ευχές για το Νέο Ετος -Υγεία, Αγάπη, Χαρά & Ευημερία! Για την ιστορική μας οργάνωση ευχόμεθα αγαστή συνεργασία όλων των δυνάμεών μας, ενίσχυση των δεσμών μας & δημιουργικό έργο σ’ όλη τη διάρκεια του 2008.
Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά σας ανακοινώνουμε ότι οι εργασίες του 62ου Ετήσιου Συνεδρίου της Παμμακεδονικής Ένωσης Αμερικής θα λάβουν χώρα στο ξενοδοχείο Crown Plaza έναντι του αεροδρομίου LaGuardia στη Νέα Υόρκη στις 29, 30 και 31 Μαίου 2008.
Το συνέδριο μας είναι εφέτος αφιερωμένο στις νεότερες γενεές των Μακεδόνων της Αμερικής. Θα παραδώσουμε το βήμα στους νέους μας για να ακούσουμε τις ανάγκες, τους προβληματισμούς τους καθώς και τις σκέψεις και προτάσεις τους για το μέλλον της μεγάλης οργάνωσής μας. Στο πλαίσιο του διαλόγου μας με τους νεούς θα επιχειρηθεί η εις βάθος κατανόηση του Μακεδονικού ζητήματος και θα αναλυθούν τρόποι με τους οποίους μπορούν στην πράξη να προωθήσουν τις θέσεις μας.
Εκδηλώσεις
→Στις 29 Μαίου 2008 θα πραγματοποιηθεί δεξίωση στο «Μακεδονικό Σπίτι» στο Whitestone της Νέας Υόρκης.
→Στις 30 Μαίου 2008 θα διοργανωθεί εκδήλωση με την ιστορική χορωδία Σερρών «Ορφέας» που προσφέρει με τη δημιουργική της παρουσία από το 1905 υψηλής ποιότητας μουσική παιδεία στον Ελληνισμό. Η εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί σε αίθουσα της περιοχής του Queens.
→Στις 31 Μαίου 2008 θα απονεμηθεί από το Κέντρο Μακεδονικών Σπουδών το Φιλίππειο Βραβείο στον Σεβασμιώτατο Αρχιεπίσκοπο Αμερικής κ.κ. Δημήτριο σε δείπνο προς τιμήν του στο Terrace on the Park.
Ευχόμεθα να συμμετάσχετε στις εργασίες του συνεδρίου και στις εκδηλώσεις μας. Η ενεργή συμμετοχή σας στο Συνέδριο είναι πολύ σημαντική και ελπίζουμε ο διάλογος με τους νέους μας να είναι γόνιμος και εποικοδομητικός για να συνεχίσουμε δυναμικά την πορεία της ιστορικής μας Οργάνωσης.
Το μέλλον της Οργάνωσης μας είναι ευθύνη όλων μας!
