The European League is a non-profit making private organization with the purpose of promoting the ideals of the EU.
It is led by an international Committee of men of science and of letters and is stationed in Geneva, CH.
Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that the European League of Geneva has instituted a special department to deal with the situation in SE Europe and with particular reference to the admission of Turkey in the European family and the precarious situation regarding peace in the SE section of the European Union.
We bring your attention to the following points.
1. The government of FYROM is maintaining irredentist attitude towards the EU member Greece. What is worst, a widespread network of lobbyists and propagandists, paid with important sums of money in the USA, in Europe and in Australia, has undertaken a campaign based on the falsification of history which goes beyond any acceptable means suitable to European scientific or cultural standards.
2. In a concerted effort, the government of Turkey maintains a provocative action against the EU members Greece and Cyprus. It is your duty to be aware that Turkish military planes maintain a provocative terrorist action by flying 300 meters above the homes of the Greek inhabitants of the Greek Aegean Islands and by maintaining a casus belli menace against Greece if she dares apply world recognized standards of International Law concerning territorial waters etc.
3. The Government of Turkey maintains an occupation army holding under terror the 1/3 of the Island after having violently deported 250,000 Greek inhabitants and confiscated their property which they are selling to British tourists. Recently it has been proven that, the NATO supported invasion to the Island was executed with acts of violence, rape, murder of prisoners and civilians.
With regard to §3 above we remind you (or bring to your knowledge if you are unaware) that the acts perpetrated by the Turkish army have been condemned by the Court of Nurenberg and that same acts perpetrated by German officials were judged and the perpetrators were sentenced to death by hanging. The criminal acts, (identically similar to those perpetrated by the Turks in the Island of Cyprus, inhabited from time immemorial by a Greek population representing 82% of the current population, the rest being remnants of early invaders of the Island), for which the German high officials were hung, are enumerated as follows.
Nurenberg Court Decision Article 6
.......
(a) Crimes against peace: namely, planning, preparation, intitiation or waging of war of aggression.....
(b) War Crimes: namely violation of the laws of the customs of war including but not limited to, murder, ill-treatment or deportation to slave labor or for any other purpose of civilian population of or in occupied territory, murder or ill-treatment of prisoners of war, killing of hostages, plunder of public or private property, wanton destruction of cities, towns or villages or devastation not justified by military necessity.
(c) Crimes against Humanity: namely, murder, extermination, deportation, and other inhumane acts committed against any civilian population, before or during the war or persecutions on political, racial or religious grounds in execution of or in connection with any crime whether or not in violation of domestic law of the country where perpetrated.
Leaders, organizers, instigators and accomplices participating in the formulation or execution of a Common Plan or Conspiracy to commit any of the foregoing crimes are responsible for all acts performed by any persons in execution of such plan.
Article 7: The official position of defendants, whether as Heads of State or responsible officials in Government departments, shall not be considered as freeing them from responsibility or mitigating punishment.
Article 8. The fact that the defendant acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior shall not free him from responsibility...
Dear Sir,
The criminal acts perpetrated by the Germans during WWII were decently judged and the perpetrators were sentenced to death, executed by hanging. The same criminal acts perpetrated by the invading Turkish Army have remained so far not only unpunished but, on the contrary, the EU, forgetful to basic principles of international ethical order continues to envisage prolongation of talks with the Turkish element with the view of accepting them as equal members of the European community, culture and civilization.
We bring your attention to articles 7 and 8 of the decision of the Nuremberg Tribunal in the hope that yourself and the Head of the Commission may realize the responsibility of your acts when, at the end of the year, you will consider the eligibility of Turkey in the European Civilization. Your personal responsibility is grave.
We beg you to bring the text, as a warning, to the knowledge of Mr Barroso and the members of the Swedish Presidency. Any oblivion to the importance of what is at stake may have unwished for consequences for the future of the EU.
